Our kindergarten

Neo-humanist kindergarten in Oslo is a private two-department kindergarten with 20 children, 8 children from 1-3 years, and 12 children 3-6 years.  The kindergarten is run by 1 director, 2 teachers and 2 assistants.  It was established in 1991 and it is owned and administrated by Neo-humanist Institute owned by Carolina Fossum.  It is run under the principles of Neo-humanist education, introduced to the world by Prabhat R. Sarkar.

The kindergarten is situated in one of the most beautiful and natural areas of Oslo, just five minutes from the forest surrounded by many trees, birds and beautiful wild nature.  Because of its closeness to the forest, children can benefit of fresh and pure air.  They can enjoy the pure and natural small waterfalls in the forest.  Children are often out in nature pick up berries flowers, and listen to the birds.  We are ten minutes away from the  Holmekollen ski jump which we visit often to enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Oslo. 

There is an environmental station five minutes distance from the kindergarten which children visit regularly to deliver paper, glass and metal for recycling.

The main language in our kindergarten is Norwegian, but we speak also English and Spanish.
