Nature and Ecology

We depend on nature to be able to stay alive. Children have a natural feeling for nature and are very natural, loving and pure. It is very easy and natural for them to love, and get in contact with nature.

In our kindergarten children learn to take care of nature in this way…

• We recycle weekly.  We deliver glass, metal and paper to recycling stations. 
• We follow organic compost and take the food to the animals in the forest
• We keep the forest, streets and playing ground clean.  We pick garbage in the streets while we are out for excursions.
• Every child has a plant in the kindergarten and he/she has the responsibility to take care of that plant
• We read  environmental  books which teach us how to save nature’s resources
• We take care of the flowers in the garden
• We take care of our apple trees and follow them through the year
• We use recycle toys and use natural materials for our arts and crafts activities
• We use environmental washing hygienic middles for washing dishes, clothes, etc.
